Jade- (Vampire, mortal age: 22    vampire age: 5,000+) She was born to a woman in the Pharaoh’s harem and the pharaoh himself. Disliked immensely by the Pharaoh’s wife, especially after she was deemed barren and Jade was named the next in line to the throne. Jade had your usual plush royal life but was trained and honed to take the throne although she’d never had any chance to put her training to actual use. After an attempt on Jade’s life was made by the Queen, she was put to death and Jade was given an active role as a sovereign and begun ruling by her father’s side. During which she met two crucial people in her life. One was Inanna, a daughter of a foreign monarch who became her first true friend and then lover. They kept in contact after she left and after her father took ill Jade took a trip to Ancient Gaul to sign and peace treaty, un-accompanied meeting the other important person in her mortal life. Martuk, a very wise-beyond his year’s man, who was hired to be her translator. Their constant close proximity soon sparked a very peculiar courting period when he soon uncovered his deep dark secret, that he was in fact a vampire. The death of her father forced her to leave Gaul before any treaty could be signed and away from Martuk before their friendship could grow to anything more. At home she was met with a plot against her among men who were supposed to help her rule and the mysterious death of her father. When news of the growing threat against Jade reached Martuk he soon sailed for Memphis and came in only to find Jade in the middle of an attempt on her own life, instead of lose a woman he had grown to love he turned Jade into a vampire and started her immortal life.

Now there is a lot to cover in 5,000 years of history so I will just give a small synopsis. Jade gave up Egypt to someone she trusted to rule and in the future She lived for a while with Martuk and sought out Inanna turning her and living with her for a while but like all vampires they are mostly solitary creatures, never like the company of their own kind. She then came to rule Egypt for a few years at a time under different names, Hatshepsut, Neithhikret, and Nefertiti. She also met and had romances with many a people in history. Ramses II, Alexander the Great, Olympia, Cleopatra, Julius Caesar, Marc Anthony, Constantine, Nicholas Romanoff, as well as many others. She was always attracted to power and felt like her immortal life meant something being able to know and coach history in the making but and now a days with a lack of really powerful sovereigns and a need to keep her true nature hidden she’s become restless seeking out worthy company.
